Dan Haley is a transactional entertainment lawyer, whose practice spans theatre, film, television, publishing, podcasting, and digital media. Daniel represents producers, financiers, publishers, authors, and artists in complex negotiations.

Producers & Production Companies
Dan has served as production counsel on Broadway shows, feature films, and television productions. He’s drafted and negotiated financing, development, production and distribution agreements, advising clients at every step of the lifecycle of their projects.

 

Authors & Talent
Dan has represented award-winning playwrights, screenwriters, authors, and actors, as well as a number of the world’s leading talent agencies.

 

Corporate & Intellectual Property
Dan has represented small businesses in corporate, intellectual property, and employment matters, including the drafting and filing of trademark applications.

Prior to joining Nevin Law Group, Dan was an associate at a New York City-based entertainment law firm.

 

Dan has published articles on topics in entertainment, Internet and first amendment law in law journals and industry publications.

 

As a producer, Dan’s credits include Co-producer of the feature film Ask For Jane (Best Feature – Big Apple Film Festival) and Associate Producer of the film short On Monday of Last Week.

 

Dan is a graduate of Columbia University and Cardozo School of Law.
